Positive Affirmations – Do they really work? How to use affirmations correctly?

To repeat ourselves hundred times a day that we are totally horrible, we cannot do anything, it is definitely not good for us – we all can agree on that. But does it work the other way around? Can it be useful to fill your mind with desirable visions and positive statements? Is persistent repetition of positive sentences the way to change in the right direction?

Positive affirmations are one of the most commonly used techniques to effectively program the subconscious mind and shape positive thoughts. These are positive statements that should make you feel good. These should match what you really want to experience and create in your life.

Motivational books recommend repeating affirmations as often as possible so that our subconscious can accept them. The key is to feel the right emotions associated with the statement.

After a few days of intense repetition and concentration, I managed to drive away evil thoughts and began to feel a state of calm and well-being. I repeated my affirmations every day in the morning, during the day and at bedtime. So if you are really consistent, you can fool your brain and start believing it.

This state of calm lasted until the day before day D came. Even though I tried to repeat the daily affirmations 2022 again, my stomach began to twist under stress, and my brain began to cough completely for affirmations. The feeling came up again: what if I couldn’t do it and I failed? I did not want to disappoint my colleague, the participants who paid a considerable amount for the course, and of course not themselves.

Perhaps you will tell me (especially those who have already tried affirmations) that when you are in a state of emergency, it is very difficult to believe a statement that at the moment seems nice, but absolutely inconsistent with the current state.

So what I had left – the day of training came. At that moment, the only psychological help to me was that if I survived I would certainly feel good about healing affirmations. This was the case, even though the feeling of tight stomach lasted until the last minute of the seminar.

When it was over, I began to ask myself how affirmations could work in the long run. So even if there is a complicated and emotionally demanding situation when all methods begin to fail. How can I keep that feeling of peace in the long run so that I can do an even better performance and feel good about it?

After studying several other articles on affirmation, the brain and the subconscious mind from other experts, the following thoughts came to my mind: If I want these claims to be accepted by the brain, I must be 100% honest with me. If you’re repeating every day I’m slim, even if you’re overweight, it probably won’t work much. But if we look at the situation from the perspective of sincerity towards each other, we can quite change the situation. One of the best kind of affirmations is self love affirmations. Here are some examples:

I am frustrated with my eating habits, but I learn to care for myself with respect and respect.
I am nervous and have stage fright from the presentation of a new project, but with good preparation and good listeners I will do a good job.
I’m sad that I’m still single, but I learn to perceive men in an ever better and kinder light.
I am afraid to speak to more people, but I feel more relaxed and confident with each presentation. I’m learning to do better.
You can end each sentence for yourself: „I learn to do better.“

In this way, you are not cheating on yourself, but are willing to confess your feelings. As a result, nothing prevents you from looking at the good feelings that may come as follows. Every time you say affirmation, you need to feel that you are honest with yourself, you don’t lie to yourself, and you really feel that you are.

So what you need to create the right affirmation:
Find an area where you feel you need to move: relationships, work, communication, money or success. Find out and write down the current feelings you feel in the area: I’m scared, I’m nervous, I’m sad, I feel insecure. Ad so it is with positive affirmations for men.
Find out what you can or already do to feel the feeling you want to create: you learn to be open, kind, sincere, positive, relaxed.
Repeat them at any time of the day when you have a moment of peace – the more often, the better of course.
